At VPA we are proud to have great shuttle drivers that value the importance of safety.

Our shuttle drivers safely and efficiently transport thousands of passengers every day. Their commitment to safety and hard work should not go unnoticed. As a way to recognize and reward these employees, we created a Shuttle Driver Safety Incentive Program. The program kicked off in June of 2012.  VPA shuttle drivers are given awards based on “safe” hours driven.  These safe hours are monitored by VPA’s rigid safety standard. The more time they stay within these standards the more awards they will earn. Full-time employees receive their award after 6 months of safe driving, part-time employees receive their award after one year of safe driving. Employees who continue their safe driving will receive mugs, duffel bags, hats, jackets and vests. We have had a lot of great feedback on this new program and look forward to presenting more awards.  Thank you to all of our shuttle drivers for your safe driving over the many years we’ve provided transportation service!
